VPD provides support for the management and execution of facility projects at U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) facility portfolio across the United States, as well as projects for the Department of the Navy’s Navy Installation Command (CNIC) and the Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration (MARAD). We provide comprehensive facilities management support, specializing in the modernization, maintenance, and operational excellence of federal and military infrastructure.
With a disciplined and adaptable approach, VPD ensures the effective management of facility projects of all sizes, delivering value through sound planning, programming, budgeting, and strategic communications. Through this approach we were instrumental in securing nearly $4B in funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for modernization of 167 LPOEs on the northern and southern U.S. borders.
We support all federal agencies, including the Department of the Navy’s Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command’s (NAVFAC) Navy Housing Condition Assessment Program (HCAP). We assist the Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC) with CONUS and OCONUS housing condition assessments, professional services, engineering, fieldwork and administrative support required to facilitate the HCAP. We provide independent assessments of the condition, quality and configuration of Family Housing (FH) and Unaccompanied Housing (UH) facilities, reconciling FH and UH inventory databases, prioritizing and validating FH construction and maintenance funding requirements and supporting preparation of FH and UH master plans.
Our facilities and engineering expertise extends to the Department of Transportation (DOT) Maritime Administration (MARAD) Office of Port Infrastructure Development Program (PIDP).
We provide civil engineering and grants oversight support for projects aimed at improving the maritime transportation system, including ports, through investment, integration, and innovation to meet the current and future needs of the Nation.
We provide technical guidance and assistance in planning and developing intermodal facilities, and develop, coordinate, and execute civil engineering related projects.
We oversee marine infrastructure and facility projects related to ports and port related infrastructure such as piers, docks, berths, seawalls, bulkheads, bridges, roadways, railyards, intermodal facilities, cargo laydown areas, lighting, stormwater improvements, etc.
