​Kirsten Spraker has spent over 20 years leading teams, managing complex projects, and tackling tough challenges across the military, federal government, non-profit, and private sector. A former U.S. Air Force officer and helicopter evaluator pilot, Kirsten led front-line missions, managed high-performing teams, and delivered operational excellence under pressure. Her military experience forged a resilient, mission-first mindset that she now applies to every facet of her work. Whether navigating complex federal initiatives or leading corporate transformation, she approaches each challenge with clarity, tenacity, and strategic foresight.

Since joining VPD in 2015, Kirsten has provided project management and long-range planning support for the modernization of U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s multi-billion-dollar infrastructure portfolio. She continues to serve as a subject matter expert, advising on high-visibility capital investment strategies, out-year planning initiatives and complex infrastructure projects. As VPD has grown, Kirsten’s role has evolved with it. Kirsten serves as Vice President at VPD, where she leads the company’s ISO-certified quality management program, acts as executive sponsor for its leadership development initiative, and provides oversight to federal contracts with a focus on building high-performing consultant teams and achieving mission success for VPD’s clients.

Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Project Management from Norwich University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Prosci-Certified Change Management Practitioner, and holds FAA Commercial Pilot ratings in both fixed-wing and rotorcraft aircraft.

Kirsten lives in sunny New Mexico with her husband where they enjoy a balance of high-altitude mountain living with rewarding professional impact.
