VPD is a trusted partner to the HHS Administration for Children and Families (ACF) and the Office of Family Assistance (OFA). VPD oversees approximately $150 million in grant funding supporting the Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood programs within the Office of Family Assistance. Support grantees and grantee organizations with processing, administering, and managing a variety of human services, family, and youth-related grants. We oversee the pre-award and award process, including solicitation, selection, and training of panel chairs and reviewers.

Grantee Assistance

Meet with grantees monthly to help them with performance improvement strategies or technical assistance as needed. We discuss programmatic requirements, assess participation rates, budget revisions, changes in scope, and ensure they are maintaining compliance with federal grant management regulations.

We assist in training panel chairs and panel reviewers for grants and grant applications. We help organize panel reviews, develop reports and funding memos, and various grant award documentation.

Collect all grants data from grants systems and analyze the data, grantee reports, and performance numbers to identify trends oremerging risks.
